My Story

Shan Lambert was born and raised in Central New Jersey and graduated cum laude from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a minor in Spanish. While in college, Shan also studied abroad in Morocco to connect with family roots, explore the country’s history, and begin learning Arabic.

Since 2021, Shan has taught students from middle school through early college in courses such as Algebra, Geometry, and Probability & Statistics, along with electives like Truth, Lies & Logic and Games and Strategies. Shan also gained experience as a supplemental instructor for college-level Statistics, where supporting students in building confidence and problem-solving skills became a passion.

Shan often reminds students, “Be patient with yourself and your learning process — it’s what makes you unique.” This belief is at the heart of the classroom, where patience, understanding, and strong relationships create an environment where every student can feel capable and valued.

Outside of teaching, Shan enjoys camping, road trips, making mosaic art, solving logic puzzles, and spending time with friends. These creative and curious pursuits inspire the same sense of discovery and connection that Shan encourages in students each day.
