Hi! I’m Jill, a Pacific Northwest native who grew up in Olympia, WA, and spent the last three years living in Pullman while attending WSU. I’ve always been curious and creative, exploring everything from art to design to science, and that curiosity drives how I approach learning and teaching.

 

While at WSU, I worked as an Adobe design tutor and absolutely loved it. Helping students unlock their skills, see real results, and build confidence in their work was incredibly rewarding. The success I saw in that role inspired me to expand into private tutoring and help students with reading, math, writing, and more.
 

Having had incredible experiences with private tutors myself, I know firsthand how transformative one-on-one learning can be. Those moments helped me grow and build confidence, and I want to give my students that same experience. I’m patient, understanding, and passionate about helping students tackle challenges, develop skills, and even enjoy the process along the way.

 

Outside of tutoring, I have a wide range of interests that keep life fun and often inspire how I teach. I love painting, sketching dinosaurs, exploring design, cooking, baking, and going on road trips. I’m also a huge racing enthusiast and love driving my 1984 Porsche 944 whenever I get the chance. I bring that same energy, curiosity, and excitement into every tutoring session, making learning engaging, creative, and genuinely fun.
