Christine Parson brings over twenty years of experience working with elementary and adolescent students in both classroom and coaching settings. She holds AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) Elementary and Adolescent certifications, along with a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Central Florida and additional training in Positive Discipline, which includes strategies for building executive functioning skills in young learners.

Throughout her career, Christine has designed and delivered individualized instruction, adjusting pace, materials, and approach to meet each student's developmental stage and learning style. She has extensive experience creating and using hands on, manipulative based learning materials that help students move from concrete understanding to abstract reasoning, particularly in mathematics and language.

Her work spans direct instruction with elementary age children as well as program development for adolescents, including a course focused on executive functioning and the transition to greater independence. Christine also trains and coaches other educators, helping them refine individualized teaching practices and classroom management strategies grounded in Positive Discipline principles.

Christine's approach is warm, patient, and rooted in the belief that every child learns best through instruction tailored specifically to them. She is excited to bring this same individualized, student centered approach to Piñon Tutoring's students.
