April Kron has been helping students learn and grow since 1997. With nearly three decades of teaching experience, she is passionate about helping children build confidence, develop strong academic skills, and discover that learning can be both rewarding and enjoyable. She earned her degrees from the University of New Mexico and the College of Santa Fe, where she majored in Spanish and Education.

 

Throughout her career, April has taught elementary students in English Language Arts and Mathematics, working with children of diverse learning styles and abilities. She believes every child can succeed when they receive patient encouragement, personalized
instruction, and the opportunity to learn at their own pace. As a tutor, her goal is to provide a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, overcoming challenges, and celebrating their successes. Whether your children need help strengthening reading, writing, or math skills, she is committed to helping them reach their full potential.

When April isn't teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her three wonderful grandchildren. She also loves visiting her parents in Florida, exploring the outdoors with her dogs, Saint and Stevie, and sharing breakfast with her cat, Subrina. Her favorite cuisine is Italian, and she never says no to a good cup of coffee.
